Lisa Marie Griffin, age 55, of Enterprise, AL, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, May 21, 2017 at the Daleville Chapel of Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, James M. and Frances Griffin.

Survivors include three sisters, Leslie King, Daleville, AL; Jamie Lynn Grice (Matt) Murfreesboro, TN; Kristy M. Peyton (Sylvester) Murfreesboro, TN; four brothers, Timothy David Griffin (Beverly) VA; James Harvey Griffin (Donna) Daleville, AL; John Harold Griffin (April) Daleville, AL; Joseph Paul Griffin (Joanna) Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews.

No arrests in May 12th Level Plains murder

LEVEL PLAINS, Ala. (WTVY) — No arrests have been made in a Level Plains murder that happened a week and a half ago.

55-year-old Lisa Griffin was found critically wounded from gunfire inside a rural mobile home on Dale County Road 24 on May 12th.

The Enterprise woman was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead on arrival.

Although no arrests have been made Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson says his department is making progress.

Enterprise woman fatally wounded in shooting in Level Plains

An Enterprise woman was fatally wounded in Level Plains Friday night after gunshots were fired into a residence.

Enterprise Rescue transported Lisa Griffin, 55, to Flowers Hospital in Dothan where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

The Dale County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating the person or persons responsible.

Deputies responded to the 1700 block of County Road 24 at approximately 9:15 p.m. Friday in reference to a report of shots being fired in the area.

While deputies were en route, Ozark-Dale County E911 upgraded the call and advised deputies that one subject was suffering from a gunshot wound and was in critical condition.

When deputies arrived they located a woman with a gunshot wound to her upper body inside the residence.

Investigators processing the evidence said it appears that multiple rounds were fired into the residence.
